AVX Corporation has developed a low profile, surface mount chip capacitor specifically designed for tip and ring telecom applications.

Designated the tip and ring capacitor, the capacitor features a standard nickel barrier solder plate termination and are compatible with standard surface mount reflow processes. The Flexiterm® termination is now offered in the tip and ring capacitors.
