Microchip unveils 4Kb serial presence detect EEPROM for DDR4 SDRAM modules

Microchip has announced a new 4Kb I2C™ Serial Presence Detect (SPD) EEPROM: the 34AA04. This device is specifically designed to work with the next generation of Double Data Rate 4 (DDR4) SDRAM modules.
